JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 03-03-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 26.12.2019 and does not have criminal antecedents, seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 11537 of 2019 arising out of P.R. Case No. 319 of 2019, instituted for the offence under Sections 30(a)/56(b) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

It appears from the prosecution report that 40 litres of liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner denies such recovery and claims to have been falsely implicated in this case. Regard being had to the period of custody of the

No.14211 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 petitioner and his clean antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 11537 of 2019 arising out of P.R. Case No. 319 of 2019.
