The petitioners seek bail in Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 13/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30, 38 and 41 of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioners were apprehended while they were carrying country made liquor kept in a tube on the motorcycle. One person managed to flee away. 46 litres of country made liquor were recovered.

It is submitted that the petitioners are in jail since 20.01.2017. He has already remained in jail for one and half months.

No.10998 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioners above named are directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran, Chapra in connection with Chapra Muffasil P.S. Case No. 13/2017.
