In this writ application the petitioners prays for issuance of a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of compensation amount along with the interest for their agriculture land bearing Khata No.- 628, Khesra No. 1814 measuring 0.18 decimal in total at Mauja Timeri, P.S.- Masaurhi, District - Patna which was acquired by the government for double the railway track of Patna Gaya rail line

Patna High Court CWJC No.566 of 2019(2) dt.23-04-2024 2/2 in the year 2005 itself.

3. Learned counsel for the State pointed out that the matter is of the year 2005 and there is delay in coming to the Court.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would suffice, if he is granted liberty to move before the appropriate authority, the respondent No.4 (Land Acquisition Officer, Patna) for the redressal of their grievance.

5. In view of the delay, no specific direction can be issued. However, granting liberty to the petitioners to approach respondent No.4, the writ petition stands disposed of. (Rajiv Roy, J) Guddu/- U
