The petitioner seeks bail in Kotwali (Tilkamanjhi) P.S. Case No. 31/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

17 bottles of Royal Stag each containing 375 ml. each, 130 bottles of old Monk each containing 375 ml. and 212 bottles of Mc Dowell's each containing 180 ml. were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

It is submitted that altogether 58 litres of Indian made foreign liquor was recovered and for that petitioner is in jail since 14.01.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10028 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner has already remained in jail for 01 month and 22 days, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with Kotwali (Tilkamanjhi) P.S. Case No. 31/2017.
