Petitioner is accused in connection with Spl. Case No. 368 of 2020 arising out of P.R. No. 306 registered under Sections 30(a), 32(1), 32(3), 41(1) and 41(2) of the Excise Act. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 08.01.2020.
