The petitioner seeks bail in Barauni Railway P.S. Case No. 107 of 2016, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 17 of 2016, C.I.S. No.-24 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20/22 of the NDPS Act.

On secret information the petitioner was searched at Barauni Railway Station and from her plastic bag 31⁄2 kilograms of Ganja was recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in jail since 24.10.2016 and less than commercial quantity was recovered for that the petitioner is in jail for about five months.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.11884 of 2017 (2) dt.20-03-2017 2/2 petitioner has already remained in jail for five months and she is a lady and she has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph3 of the bail petition, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sessions Judge, Begusarai in Barauni Railway P.S. Case No. 107 of 2016, corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 17 of 2016, C.I.S. No. -24 of 2016.
