This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Seven liters of country made liquor was recovered from the shop of the petitioner.

The petitioner has sated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 21.01.2017. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Kotwa P.S. Case No. 11 of 2017 to the satisfaction

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16356 of 2017 (2) dt.10-04-2017 2/2 of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, or successor Court with the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
