2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 367 of 2023 registered for the offence under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, dacoity was committed by unknown criminals in the house of the informant.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and he is named in the alleged offence only on the basis of suspicion as he is the covillager. He further submits that there is no legal evidence against the petitioner to connect him with the crime.

5. Considering the aforesaid facts, this application is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 367 of 2023.

7. As a condition of this order, the petitioner, after being released on bail is directed to mark his attendance at Raniganj Police Station on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the police station will result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
