Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 520/2012 in which cognizance has been taken under section 3/ 4 of the D.P. Act.

The accusation against the petitioner is that he demanded more dowry from the complainant's husband but when the demand was not fulfilled, he cancelled marriage of his son which had been settled with the daughter of complainant.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, this anticipatory bail petition is allowed and it is ordered that in the event of arrest/ surrender within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order to the concerned court, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction
