The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 394, 307 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, the three accused persons committed robbery on the informant and his friend and in course of the same shot at the informant's friend. Two of the accused were caught while one managed to escape.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. He was caught under a misunderstanding. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 12.11.2019.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and

No.22206 of 2021(3) dt.18-11-2021 2/2 taking into consideration the facts of the case, the material that has transpired in course of investigation together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 2 years, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case no. 678 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chapra.
