2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Korha P.S. Case No. 306 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 21©, 22©, 25 of the NDPS Act.

3. In compliance of the order of this Court, the SHO of Korha Police Station and the I.O. of Korha P.S. Case No. 306 of 2024 have appeared in this Court.

4. A supplementary affidavit and a counter affidavit has been filed in this case.

5. From the records of the case and the statement of the SHO, it appears to be a case of transportation of codeine from Patna to Purnea and when the driver was caught with the vehicle in which codeine was being transported, he was asked to

6. From the aforesaid, it is clear that though, the petitioner claims to be the driver of the vehicle but he is also fully involved in the crime.

7. The petitioner is in custody since 6.11.2024.

8. Considering the gravity of the offence and also in view of huge recovery of codeine which was being transported to neighbouring countries via Purnia, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

9. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

10. The personal appearance of the police officials is dispensed with.
