In the present writ application, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, or order/s, direction quashing the order dated 30-06-2017 passed in Case No. 14/2016-17 directing the petitioner to deposit additional registration fees and fine of Rs. 1,01,376/- in connection with a sale-deed which was executed and registered at Bettiah Registry office on 30-01-2016 in favour of the petitioner.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5245 of 2019(2) dt.14-03-2019 2/2 It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the order dated 22-02-2019 passed in CWJC No. 2945 of 2019.

Considering the relief sought for in the present writ application, the petitioner is directed to file an appeal under Section 13 of the Bihar Stamp (under valuation) Rules, 1995 before the appellate authority/Divisional Commissioner. The Appellate Authority after following the procedure as laid down under Rules 14 and 15 of the Act, shall pass final order under Rule 16. The petitioner shall file an appeal before said appellate authority within a period of 60 days from today. The said appeal shall be disposed of within a period of four months from the date of filing of such appeal.

During pendency of the said appeal, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner in connection with Case No. 14/2016-17.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, this writ application stands disposed of.
