2. It has been apprised to this Court that the issue raised before this Court was duly considered by the learned Division Bench of this Court in Devmuni Paswan Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. [2023(2) PLJR 425], wherein the
Patna High Court CWJC No.1047 of 2019(7) dt.25-06-2025 2/2 declaration of Clause 5(7) of the Bihar Chaukidari Cadre (Amendment) Rules, 2014 being held ultra vires and violative of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution of India. The challenge to the decision rendered by the learned Division Bench has also failed before the Apex Court.
3. In view of the aforesaid settled position, this Court finds that the present writ petition devoid of any merit. Accordingly, it stands dismissed.
