2. Let the defect(s), as pointed out by the office, be ignored.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

4. The present modification petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioner seeking modification of the order dated 03.11.2025 passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 48434 of 2025 and further seeking extension of time for surrender and furnishing of bail bonds of the petitioner.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner could not surrender within the time stipulated in the earlier order, and therefore, prays for grant of further extension

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23791 of 2026(2) dt.21-07-2026 2/2 of time for the said purpose. It is further submitted that the petitioner is willing to deposit a sum of Rs. 5,000/- to a charitable organization, without prejudice to his case.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the present modification application is allowed.

7. Accordingly, the petitioner is granted four weeks' further time from today to surrender before the court concerned and furnish bail bonds, subject to conditions that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) with Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Ramakrishna Avenue, Nala Road, Patna, Bihar 800004, and shall produce a valid receipt thereof before the court below at the time of surrender.

8. It is clarified that the bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted only after verification of the genuineness and validity of the said receipt by the court concerned.

9. The order dated 03.11.2025 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 48434 of 2025 stands modified to the aforesaid extent.
