The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, two unknown miscreants boarded on motorcycle snatched the bag containing Rs. 99,000/- from the hand of the informant.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the name of the petitioner has sprung up on the confessional statement of the co-accused Manjit Kumar and the petitioner has clean antecedent as stated at para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 22.12.2021. As per the impugned order, no incriminating articles were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Class Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Mashrak P.S. Case No. 609 of 2021. The application stands allowed.
