This application for regular bail arises out of Karajain P.S. Case No. 85 of 2019 disclosing offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. Allegedly, a loaded country made pistol was recovered from the possession from the petitioner and one live cartridge was recovered from the possession of the co-accused Manish Kumar Karn.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that since the Sub-Inspector of police is himself the informant, there is no chance of tampering with the evidence, the petitioner may be allowed regular bail as he has already remained in custody since 16.09.2019.
