JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-03-2022 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Shambhuganj P.S. Case No. 20/2019, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the trial is not progressing, hence, some observation may be made so as to expedite the trial and in case, there is no further progress in the trial, the petitioner be granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

It is further observed that in case, there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court for renewal of his prayer for bail immediately, upon completion of one year from today.
