The petitioner seeks bail in Majorganj P.S. case No. 45 of 2017 under Section 30 (a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police intercepted the petitioner, while he was going on a motor cycle bearing registration No. BR 30F 9673, and 149 bottles of Nepali wine, each containing 300 ml., were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It is submitted that about 44 liters and 700 ml. of Nepali wine was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that the petitioner is in jail since 13.02.2017.
