The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kursakanta P.S. Case no. 188 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 379 and 411 of the I.P.C. lodged on 27.09.2021 by the informant Vijay Kumar Mandal.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that on 26.09.2021, when the informant went to the house of one Suresh Mandal, a co-villager on his motorcycle bearing registration no. BR 39/0596 which was registered in the name of his father and went inside the 'Angan'. On coming outside, found the motorcycle missing. Accordingly, the F.I.R.

The name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement and he also has criminal antecedent of the same nature and as such it is not proper for this Court to
