2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8 and 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. As per prosecution case, 2.250 Kgs Ganja and 15.480 litres illicit liquor was recovered from house of this petitioner.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. The alleged recovery has been made from the joint possession house of the petitioner and she has got no concern with the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17950 of 2025(2) dt.11-04-2025 2/2 alleged recovery. Petitioner is a lady and she is in custody since 03.12.2024.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of accusation and period of custody, the prayer for grant bail of to the petitioner is allowed.
7. Accordingly, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge III, Purnea in connection with Sadar P.S.
