2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for offence under Sections 420, 406, 323, 452, 467, 468, 504/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 26.08.2012, this petitioner and co-accused Sanjit Kr. Sharma requested the informant to invest money in their bank and he will get 10 times of the deposited amount within 12 years and also get monthly income of Rs. 4000/-. On the assurance given by them, the informant invested huge amount and when informant demanded his monthly income, the petitioner and others abused and assaulted him and also denied to return the alleged amount.
