Petitioner is accused in connection with Special Excise Case No. 175 of 2017 registered for the offences under Sections 30A of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for recovery of only ten pouches of country made Mahuwa liquor, petitioner is in custody since 26-02-2017. It is submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
