The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 376, 504, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4, 6, 8 of the POCSO Act.
The thrust of the accusation is against co-accused Rajendra Ram and this petitioner has been made accused in this case only due to the fact that he is father of co-accused Rajendra Ram. The victim girl, in her statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., has not whispered anything against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 13.01.2022.
Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.
Considering the nature of accusation and statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., the bail petition
