This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner was working as franchise for North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and was assigned responsibility to collect the bill amount of electric supply. Allegation is that the petitioner collected amount from different consumers and a portion of the same was deposited with the Company. However, remaining amount was misappropriated.

The case diary does not reveal that there is any specific material as to what amount was still due with the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 06.02.2017. Considering the vague nature of allegation, let the
