IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA

Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No.3749 of 2016 ====================================================== Anjani Kumar .... .... Petitioner/s

Versus

The State of Bihar & Ors .... .... Respondent/s ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 06-04-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. No one appears for the State.

This case has come at the instance of the petitioner. It is contended that there is typographical error in paragraph no.3 in the order dated 29.02.2016 disposing of this writ application to the extent that it appears that it has wrongly been typed that petitioner is already having licence for N.P. Bore revolver and gun and again is seeking licence for a pistol/revolver. In fact, the petitioner is holding licence for N.P. bore rifle and now he seeks licence for pistol/revolver.

Paragraph no.3 stands modified to the extent and now reads as under:- "Petitioner's prayer for grant of licence on the basis of

Patna High Court CWJC No.3749 of 2016 (3) dt.06-04-2016 2 / 2 lack of threat perception has been rejected by the Licensing Authority vide Annexure 4. It is contended that petitioner is already having licence for N.P. bore rifle and now he seeks a licence for pistol/revolver. It has been observed in the order that the Superintendent of Police has merely forwarded the case of the petitioner."

The order dated 29.02.2016 stands modified to the extent as indicated above.
