2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

3. 2548.440 liters of foreign liquor is said to have been recovered from a truck.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that no such occurrence as alleged ever took place. He is quite innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. No incriminating article has been recovered from his conscious physical possession. The allegation levelled against the

The petitioner has seven criminal antecedents and out of seven , four are for similar nature of the offence. The petitioner has been languishing in custody since 21.12.2024.

5. Learned APP for the State vehemently opposed the bail petition.

6. In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for bail is hereby rejected. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) Trivedi/- U T
