This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Ujiarpur P.S.Case No.200 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. and it appears that his name transpired during the course of investigation. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is nothing against the petitioner except the confessional statement of the another co-accused person. The petitioner is in custody for about eight months.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail on the ground that apart from the confessional statement of another co-accused person he has criminal antecedent as he is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21968 of 2017 (2) dt.10-05-2017 2/2 accused in 10 other cases also.

Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of one year.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
