This petition is filed for modification of order dated 29.06.2020 passed in Cr.Misc.No.21139 of 2020 by which the petitioner was granted provisional bail.
It appears from the order sheet of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram that he has taken very technical and pedantic approach in accepting the bail bond of the petitioner. The petitioner was granted provisional bail during the period of COVID-19 Pandemic. The court below was directed to extend the period of provisional bail, if the court proceeding in physical mode would not resume in next three
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20752 of 2021(2) dt.19-03-2021 2/2 months. Till date, the bail bond of the petitioner has not been cancelled. In this view of the fact, I dispose of this petition with a direction to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram to accept the bail bond of the petitioner in accordance with law forthwith.
With the aforesaid direction, this petition is disposed of.
