This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Sections 224, 225 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation against the petitioner is that he attempted to flee away from the police custody while he was being produced in Court. The petitioner was apprehended at the spot. The petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2016.

Though there is list of criminal cases against the petitioner, however, perusal of the first information reports would reveal that the first information reports are against unknown in respect of most of the cases wherein name of the petitioner has transpired during investigation.

Considering the aforesaid material let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No. 261 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul, or successor Court.
