2. The petitioner has filed the instant application for modification of the order dated 11.10.2022 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25137 of 2022, whereby while granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Minapur P.S. Case No. 98 of 2018, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the Court below within a period of four weeks.
3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail on 11.10.2022 but the information regarding grant of anticipatory bail could not be communicated to the petitioner by his advocate on time and accordingly, the period of surrender has expired. Hence, the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25385 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 petitioner prays for extension of time for furnishing bail bonds.
4. It appears from order dated 11.10.2022, that petitioner was granted anticipatory bail and he did not comply with the order for more than one and half year.
5. In view of the causal approach adopted by the petitioner, in complying with the order of this Court and there is huge misuse of bail, I am not inclined to grant further extension of period for furnishing bail bonds.
