Considering the fact that the evidence on behalf of the prosecution has been closed and the case is fixed for recording the statement of the accused under Section 313 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner as he is facing trial for the charges punishable under sections 394 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Section 27 of the Arms Act. The application stands dismissed.
