The petitioner is accused in connection with Excise Case No. 125 of 2018, arising out of G.O. No. 48 of 2018, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 96 litres of country made liquor to the dicky of the car, which was driven by this petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner was driver of the said vehicle to which the alleged liquor was said to be recovered. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent is in custody since 31.01.2018.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18091 of 2018(2) dt.29-03-2018 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge (Excise), Nawada in connection with Excise Case No. 125 of 2018.
