The learned counsel for the respondentState has submitted, by referring to the counter affidavit filed in the present case that a sum of Rs. four lacs has already been paid to the petitioner by way of ex gratia amount, hence the grievance of the petitioner has stood redressed.

This Court appreciates the promptness
