JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 17-04-2019 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, petitioner is only looking for a direction to the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Samastipur (respondent no. 4) to consider the grievance of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision thereon within the statutory framework. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the statutory provision respondent no. 4 is obliged to convene a meeting. Learned counsel for the State submits that to that extent the State will have no objection if the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Samastipur is directed to consider the grievance of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision thereon. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.

4 to look into the grievance of the petitioner, consider the same and take an appropriate decision thereon within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. It will be open for the petitioner to cite all such statutory provisions on which learned counsel for the petitioner rely upon in the writ application. This writ application stands disposed of accordingly.
