The Petitioner seeks bail in S. Tr. No. 21 of 2018 arising out of Kuchaikote P.S. Case No. 284 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 307, 147, 149, 148, 323 and 324 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the direct allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same expeditiously. Petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail
