The petitioner seeks bail in Suppi P.S. case No. 05/2020 registered under Section 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code u/s 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.

The informant apprehended the petitioner from near his house and on search 78 liter of Nepali Saufi wine was recovered from the latrine room of the house of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner had no knowledge about keeping of liquor in the house and the house is joint family house. The petitioner is in custody since 05.01.2020 and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. The petitioner has remained in jail for about two months.
