The petitioner is in custody in connection with Neemchak Bathani P.S. Case No. 133 of 2018 (corresponding G.R. No. 6968 of 2018) for the offences under Sections 452/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-B)A, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 15.10.2018. He further submits that the allegation against this petitioner is that on search one country made pistol and two live cartridges was recovered from his possession. Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody for more than four and half months, the Court is
