JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 28-02-2018 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the State. Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in Maner PS Case No. 622 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 152, 188, 341, 323, 307, 332, 333, 337, 338, 427, 441, 353, 504, 506 of the IPC and Section 3⁄4 of Damage to Public Property Act.. The allegation in brief is that large number of people were protesting against the government new policy of sand minding and alleged to have indulged in brick batting causing injury to some police personnel and damaging some vehicles.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner and no source of identification for being implicated in this case is mentioned, he has clean antecedent and is in custody since 25.12.2017. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the petitioner, namely, Santosh Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM Danapur in connection with Maner PS Case No. 622 of 2017.
