The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 472 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, on a team being constituted and a raid having been conducted, it is stated that 56 revenue records/documents containing a total of 422 pages was recovered from the personal residential house of the petitioner. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the case due to political rivalry. No document has been recovered from the house of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 3.1.2021 and has no criminal antecedent. Case of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21739 of 2021(2) dt.24-09-2021 2/2 the petitioner stands on a similar footing to that of a co-accused Chandra Bhushan Singh who has been enlarged on bail vide order dated 16.7.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. no.22015 of 2021. Heard learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 8 months and chargesheet having been submitted, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case no.2 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, East Champaran.
