Petitioner seeks bail in Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.33 of 2020 registered under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police raided the house of the petitioner and recovered 2.97 litres of foreign liquor. The petitioner is in jail since 20.01.2020. Of course, the petitioner has got criminal antecedents and she is accused in three other cases registered under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act but the petitioner being a lady has remained in jail for one and half months for recovery of 2.97 litres of foreign liquor.

Having considered the facts aforesaid, the petitioner named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10849 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 bond of Rs.5,000/-(rupees five thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J. II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Darbhanga in connection with Bahadurpur P.S. Case No.33 of 2020.
