Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 511, 427, 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 3/4 of the Explosive Substance Act, Section 3/4 of the Public Property Act, Section 15(2), 15(4) of the Petroleum Minerals Pipeline Act and Section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is that he was noticed committing theft of oil from the supply pipe. Petitioner is in custody since 15.10.2017. Investigation is already complete. Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

No.16250 of 2018 (2) dt.22-03-2018 2/2 Considering the fact that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and investigation is already complete as well as considering the period already undergone, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Buxar (M) Police Station Case No. 225 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
