Petitioner seeks bail in C-2/124/17 for the offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act.
It has been alleged that 43 bottles of different brands of liquor total weighing 12.345 litres have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner which was being brought illegally from Nepal to India. The petitioner is in custody since 01.03.2017. The petitioner has also got no criminal antecedent as mentioned in paragraph no. 3 of this petition. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this petition for bail is allowed and the petitioner named above, is

No.20902 of 2017 (2) dt.08-05-2017 2/2 directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with C-2/124/17 to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M.,Sitamarhi subject to the condition that both the bailors should be close relatives of the petitioner.
