The present writ petition has been filed for directing the respondent to ensure the possession of the petitioner over the land measuring 0.4 Decimal appertaining to Khata No.160, Khesra No.614 situtated in Mauza-Bhatgaon near Galgaliya Bus Stand, P.S.- Galgaliya, Kishanganj, on the basis of Parcha under the Bihar Privilege Persons Home Tenancy Act, 1947 by the Competent Authority vide B.P.P.H.T. Case No.4 of 1987-88.

3. Counsel for the State raised an objection that with a view to protect the settlement, the Government of Bihar has framed a law namely Bihar Land Disputes Resolution Act, 2009 (Bihar Act 4 of 2010), under which remedy lies to the petitioner that he shall file an application before Deputy Collector Land Reform, as it is a Bihar Land Dispute Case.
4. With the aforesaid liberty, this writ petition is hereby disposed off.
