JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 18-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of bail in POCSO Case no. 25/2020 arising out of Mahila P.S. Case no. 33 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under sections 376D, 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, section 4 of POCSO Act and various section of SC/ST Act. Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 28.6.2021. Report of the trial court reveals that three prosecution witnesses have been examined and case is pending for remaining prosecution evidence.

Considering the progress of the trial, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) s.hassan/- U T
