Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 379 and 411 of the Indian Penal Code.
A stolen motorcycle was recovered by the police when co-accused Dilip Kumar was driving it and the petitioner was a pillion rider.
Submission is that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent nor he had knowledge that motorcycle is a stolen property. That was of co-accused Dilip Kumar. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12635 of 2018 (2) dt.06-03-2018 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Bettiah Town Police Station Case No. 914 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
