2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. The petitioner is the husband and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that earlier the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Center for settlement of the dispute. The mediation report is on record, which would show that the issues have been

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11984 of 2025(3) dt.17-06-2025 2/3 settled between the parties vide memorandum of agreement dated 06.05.2025 in Mediation Proceeding No.361 of 2025. As per the terms of the settlement, the total settlement amount is Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs), out of which the first installment of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) is to be deposited before or at the time of furnishing the bail bonds and the rest of the amount is to be deposited as per the schedule indicated in the terms of settlement.

5. Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 stands in support of the said settlement agreement.

In such view of the matter, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Mashrak P.S. Case No.590 of 2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.

7. Learned Court below is directed to accept the bail bonds of the petitioner after producing the evidence/receipt of payment of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs) as first
