2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 96 and 3(5) of the B.N.S..

3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that this petitioner kidnapped minor daughter of informant for the purpose of marriage. During investigation, the victim was recovered and in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., she has supported the prosecution case. The learned trial court has assessed the age of victim as 14 years.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15168 of 2026(4) dt.14-07-2026 2/2 case, specific and direct nature of accusation, gravity of offence and statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected.
