The petitioner has filed the present writ application for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for directing the respondents particularly the Respondent No. 3, District Magistrate, Vaishali to renew the Arms Licence of the petitioner which is numbered as Arms Licence No. 3676/15 of DBBL Gun which is pending against him since December, 2017.

Vide Annexure-2 to the present application, the petitioner had filed an application dated 30.12.2017 for renewal of the arms licence. The same is pending till date and no action has been taken by the respondents.

Considering the relief sought for, the Respondent

Patna High Court CWJC No.3418 of 2019(2) dt.22-02-2019 2/2 No. 3 is directed to look into the matter and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of this order. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
