2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 307/2024 registered for the offences under Sections 140(1), 61(2) of B.N.S.

3. The prosecution case in nutshell is that the son of the informant was taken away in a Bolero by two unknown persons. It was further alleged that in the evening a demand of ransom was made from the informant stating that they have kidnapped his son.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to some monetary dispute between the parties. Learned counsel has further submitted that the person namely Satish Kumar Yadav on whose statement the victim boy i.e. the son of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.13977 of 2025(2) dt.06-05-2025 2/2 the informant was recovered has been enlarged on bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 22.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 89757 of 2024. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedent and is languishing in custody since 03.10.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and taking into account that similarly situated coaccused namely Satish Yadav has been enlarged on bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 22.03.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 89757 of 2024, let the petitioner abovenamed be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari, District- East Champaran in connection with Chakia P.S.
