The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Paroo P.S. Case No. 74 of 2013 registered under Sections 302/34 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of SubDivisional Judicial Magistrate (West), Muzaffarpur. The prosecution case is that Sindhu Devi, the daughter of the informant, was married with the co-accused Ram Nath Thakur, the son of the petitioner, but, later on, she was being tortured by all the accused persons including the petitioner, regarding which Panchayati was arranged but there was no fruitful result and the case was lodged in which after compromise, she was taken to her
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9609 of 2016 (3) dt.19-04-2016 2/2 Sasural but she was killed by her husband and other in-laws and her dead body was disposed of.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased and due to ulterior motive, she has falsely been implicated in this case. In fact, the deceased died of illness. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer of the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail stands rejected.
